Spooktacular turn out at Fox Valley’s Halloween event

Hundreds of people turned out dressed to impress at Fox Valley’s Halloween Spooktacular which took place yesterday (Wednesday 31st October)

There were lots of fantastic live performances to entertain the crowds from the Buskin Buddies and Branch Out Dance Group.

Other activities included a pumpkin design craft stall, freaky face painting and a bush tucker critter challenge from the team at Regatta.

There was also a market with a fantastic line up of local traders and hot food to go stalls including the Old Bridge Bakery, the Sheffield Pie Society and the New York Cheesecake Company.

Lots of families took part in the costume parade, led by stilt walking pumpkins! Winners of the costume parade included Devon, aged 7 and twins Connor and Stuart aged 14.

The winner of the pumpkin design competition judged by Mayor of Stocksbridge, Cllr Julie Grocutt was Dylan, aged 6.

Fox Valley Centre Manager Laura Robinson said: “This year’s Halloween Spooktacular was a huge success and it was great to see so many people come along and join in the fun!”

“We are now busy preparing for our big Christmas Lights switch on event which takes place on Friday 16th November- we hope you can all join us again!”
