New format store launched at Sheffield’s Fox Valley shopping centre

The first Edinburgh Woollen Mill multi-brand store has opened at north Sheffield’s new £50 million Fox Valley development.
The 13,000 sq. ft. store houses Peacocks and Ponden Home as well as The Edinburgh Woollen Mill bringing a new range of fashions and homewares to the region.
The new store was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield Cllr Denise Fox who cut the ribbon and welcome the first shoppers through the door on Thursday June 23rd.
The opening comes one week after the centre was launched by Joanna Lumley OBE bringing a new retail destination to north Sheffield.
Cllr Fox said: “It is great to welcome a new store to the local area and see more job opportunities being created here at Fox Valley.”
The latest store to open at Fox Valley has created 15 more jobs, with two members of staff appointed through the apprenticeship scheme at The Source in Sheffield, aimed at giving young people in the region employment opportunities.
The first 60 customers of the day received a goody bag, and golden envelopes containing money-off vouchers were hidden around store for customers to find.
The new store is aimed at offering something for all ages and tastes. Edinburgh Woollen Mill features its popular Country Rose, Isle, Honour Milburn, One Valley and James Pringle lines.
Peacocks stocks a full range of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing for all occasions, and Ponden Home has a great selection of stylish and soft furnishings and a home style gifts range.
A spokesman for the company said: “The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group are delighted to be part of this new, exciting retail destination. We have three great brands in a great location offering incredible quality and value for customers and look forward to welcoming them to our super new store. “

“We have had a fantastic response and some great feedback from our shoppers since we opened in June 16th and it is great to be welcoming even more great brands to Fox Valley.”
