New family-run bakery to open at Fox Valley

A new family run bakery is set to open at Fox Valley in North Sheffield later this summer.

The owners of Bridge Bakery, Greg and Mandy Christofi, also own the Old Bridge Bakery in Holmfirth and are regular traders at Fox Valley’s Friday Market and the monthly Farmers’ Market.

Bridge Bakery will sell a range of homemade artisan breads and hot savoury pastries ideal for lunchtime, as well as gelato, healthy juices and Mediterranean desserts.

To celebrate the opening of their new business, Bridge Bakery are giving 10% off their entire menu for their first month of opening.

The Bridge Bakery will take over the former Dunkin’ Donuts unit located next to Pontis Italian Kitchen and Zorro Lounge, by Fox Valleys popular fountain area.

The Christofi family will not be reopening their restaurant at Fox Valley – Neomed - instead they have decided to strengthen the bakery side of their businesses, building on the success of their bakery in Holmfirth and 26 years of expertise.

Greg Christofi of the Bridge Bakery said: “We are excited to bring our famous breads and pastries to Fox Valley on a more permanent basis after trading on the Markets here for a while and proving really popular with Fox Valley’s shoppers.

“We are also looking forward to bringing something new to Fox Valley with gelato, gelato milkshakes and a range of healthy juices!”
