New car parking regulations introduced at Fox Valley

17 July 2018

The team at Fox Valley have made some changes to the centre’s car parking regulations which come into force this week.

The centre runs a free car park for up to four hours which is monitored by ANPR cameras. After consultation with shoppers and retailers the hours have been changed from 9am-5pm so that the regulations now apply from 7am-5pm.

The new regulations mean that shoppers still have four hours free parking within the hours of 7am and 5pm – shoppers also have the option to pay to park all day by using the pay and display machines which can be found near Pets at Home, Aldi and The Fox Valley Car Wash.

There is no change to the days the regulations apply which still seven days a week and the centre still operates a no return within one-hour policy. The changes have been introduced to ensure commuters and staff don’t use the customer car park and spaces are kept available for shoppers and visitors.

Centre manager Sandra Barley said: “We have been reviewing the parking policy and decided to make this small change to the hours that the regulations apply – this shouldn’t affect our customers at all and they can still park for four hours free of charge throughout the day or chose to pay to park for the full day.

“Our staff are on hand if anyone has any questions about parking here at Fox Valley.”
