Fox Valley team prepares for big weekend of great markets

The team at Fox Valley are gearing up for three days of great markets this week from today 2nd August through to Sunday 4th August.

The monthly Farmers’ Market which takes place on the first Saturday of every will take place this Saturday (August 3rd) along the glass walkway by Home Bargains. The event will run from 10am until 3pm and will be filled with various local traders.

Ellis Fruit and Veg will have their usual stall as well as Old Bridge Bakery who will have a wide selection of breads, pastries and confectionary. The Fishcake Co will also be attending as well as The Cheese Shop. 

Fox Valley regular traders Good with Wood will also have a stall selling reclaimed wood products as well as Little Badger Cider Company who will have various homemade ciders on offer. 

Some new faces who are attending are Get Toasted who will have a stall full of hot veggie toasties and The Wild Rose Soap Co who will be selling handmade soaps as well as skincare products. 

GEM Crafts are set to make an appearance selling handmade jewellery as well as CC’s (Neals Yard) who will be selling beauty and skincare products. 

Bantu Biltong also have a stall which will be filled with beef jerky as well as Lily Pickles of Holmfirth, Beau Tees and The Sheffield Candle Company. Other traders to look out for are Hepy’s Hog Roast and Greek Olives.

The Farmers’ Market follows the Fox Valley weekly market on Friday and Sunday August 4th will see the return of the Craft Market at the centre.

The Craft Market will host a line up including handmade furniture and clothing.  Good With Wood will be at the event as well as Creations who have a lovely range of baby clothes and teddy bears. Virtue to Victory will have a stall selling vintage clothing and jewellery and Razzle Dazzle will be selling canvas bags. 

A few other traders who are attending the craft market are Liz’s Themed Pamper Parties who will have a stall full of glitter tattoos, face painting and makeup in addition to this Karenza’s Enchanted Bookshop have a stall selling bookmarks as well as children’s books. Don’t Forget to Post It are also scheduled in for the vegan market where they will be selling numerous greeting cards. 

Be sure to check out Bizzy Bakes who will have a wide selection of candles and cookies as well as GEM Crafts of Rotherham who will be selling handmade jewellery as well as glitter wine glasses. 

Fox Valley Events Manager, Kayleigh Marron said: “We love our markets here at Fox Valley and our new themed markets are proving to be really popular with our visitors and are attracting a great line up of new traders to the centre.

Last Saturday (July 27th) the Fox Valley team hosted their first Vegan Market which went down as a success. The traders came and thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their products to the customers and the centre has received great feedback. The Vegan Market takes place on the last Saturday of every month – the next one will be on Saturday 31st August.
