Essential stalls to trade at Fox Valleys Farmers’ Market this weekend

Essential businesses and food to go stalls will trade at the Fox Valleys Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 9am-3pm, providing a safe, open air environment for locals to shop for their essential items.

Old Bridge Bakery and The Cheese Shop will be attending alongside Weigh to Save – an eco-friendly stall where shoppers can bring their own containers and weigh dried food including flour, sugar, lentils, cereals, nuts and much more.

Hepy’s Hog Roast and Grill Time Donuts will also be trading alongside Fox Valley’s H&S Jacket Potatoes for a range of tasty treats and hot food to takeaway.

The weekly and monthly Markets at Fox Valley are organised with safety measures in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both customers and traders. A one-way system will be in place as well as wide footpaths, plenty of space between in each stall to allow for social distancing and hand sanitiser on each stall.

Shoppers can park for free for up to 4 hours at Fox Valley or pay £2.50 to stay and park all day. A wide range of essential retailers remain open at Fox Valley including Holland and Barrett, Aldi, Home Bargains and Boots.

Some nonessential stores also remain open for click and collect or takeaway including Sandersons Boutique, Costa Coffee and Next.

“The safety of our customers, staff and traders is of paramount importance to us and together we work hard to create a safe, outdoor shopping environment at the weekly Friday Markets and monthly Farmers’ Market”.

The Fox Valley Friday Market takes place every week from 10am-4pm and the Farmers’ Market takes place on the first Saturday of every month from 9am-3pm. Under current restrictions, essential traders and food stalls are permitted to trade.
