Brand new Vets opens in Stocksbridge inside Pets at Home

Exciting news for pets and owners across Stocksbridge, as new Practice Owner and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), Kirstie Stoddard, officially opened her own practice on Friday (20th March), located inside Pets at Home at Fox Valley Shopping Centre in north Sheffield.
Kirstie’s career within the veterinary industry first started in 2010, working as a receptionist. This was the initial spark that grew into a burning passion for the profession. Quickly rising through the ranks, Kirstie worked to become an RVN in 2016 and has since had the dream of one day becoming the owner of her own practice.
Kirstie has now taken the plunge and brings her 15 years of experience to the pets of Stocksbridge. The new 1400 sq. ft practice has seen an investment of nearly £300k and offers a full range of veterinary services. Equipped with 3 consultation rooms, an operating theatre, X-Ray imaging suite, as well as separate cat and dog wards, it has been purpose-built to ensure maximum comfort for its patients.
The expert team at Stocksbridge consists of two Veterinary Surgeons, four Registered Veterinary Nurses, as well as a Client Care Advisor. Collectively, the team has nearly 100 years of veterinary experience and expertise in advanced medicine, advanced surgery, anaesthesia plus emergency and critical care.
The grand opening took place on Friday, where an official ribbon cutting ceremony took place along with practice tours led by Kirstie. As well as free activities for all the family, including goodie bags, ‘pup’ cakes and cupcakes.
