Apprentice finalist to help judge Fox Valley’s Teen Trader Market!

9 October 2019

The Fox Valley team are preparing for their special Teen Trader Market later this month when former Apprentice Finalist Adam Corbally will be helping to judge the budding young entrepreneurs taking part in the event.

This market takes place on Sunday October 27th and is aimed at young businesses across South Yorkshire to give them a chance to showcase their ventures to wider audience.

This event will give teens a chance to experience the hustle and bustle of an authentic retail environment.  They young traders will have the chance to sell their products or services to shoppers with everything from food and gifts to arts and crafts being showcased.

There is a £10 fee for each stall and the proceeds will be donated to the centre’s chosen charity – Bluebell Wood. Each trader will be given a 3m x 3m market stall along with a table for that day – the rest is up to them to merchandise and sell their products.

Special guest who will be judging the teen trader market is former Apprentice finalist Adam Corbally who started out in business as a market trader in Glossop – the event is being sponsored by NeoMed Mediterranean Restaurant and the Old Bridge Bakery.

Adam made it to the final in Season 8 of Lord Sugar’s Apprentice show in 2012. He now works as a motivational speaker and business coach.

Adam will be judging the stalls and business ideas and looking at everything from products to merchandising and there will be a special prize awarded to one of the businesses. Anyone who is aged 11-21 who has their own business can take part in this event.

Fox Valley Events Manager Kayleigh Marron said: “We are thrilled to welcome Adam Corbally to our teen trader market and think he will be the perfect person to judge the event.

“He really is someone that young people can look to for good business advice and guidance as he’s definitely been through it before. We’re delighted to have the event sponsored by NeoMed who are based in our Independent Quarter and by their sister company the Old Bridge Bakery who are one of our incredibly popular Fox Valley Market regulars.”
