Hours: Part Time
Reporting to the Centre Manager, this is
a role covering cleaning and maintenance duties at
Fox Valley. As part of the personal specification for this role, the individual
must be highly driven, flexible and efficient working on their own initiative
at all times. You will respond promptly in dealing with all health and safety
matters including spillages and litter, emergency procedures, first aid and
incident management working alongside the Centre Management Team.
Cleaning
You will ensure that the centre is cleaned to a high standard at all times. Daily duties will include Brearley House toilets and common areas, in and around the car park and service areas. Regular litter picks are required along with sweeping all areas and emptying the public bins.
‘Back of house’ areas also to be maintained include the service yard and waste stores, specifically ensuring the waste and recycling compounds are maintained and all waste refuse collections are up to date and tidy.
Other weekly and monthly tasks will also be
required; including weekly deep cleans of Brearley House, cleaning of shop
frontage and windowsills along with power washing of key areas around
the centre. Other duties will include maintaining customer and staff welfare
facilities and stock control of cleaning supplies.
Maintenance
Fox Valley Centre Operatives will be required to assist with maintenance jobs and must report back to the Centre Management Team any issues on site as soon as they are identified. You will need to be adaptable in this role and able to work effectively both outdoors and indoors.
Customer Service
Customer service is a key part of this role and
all staff will assist in offering a unique shopping experience to customers.
All staff are a direct representation of the business, therefore personal
cleanliness, presentation and uniform should all be of a high standard whilst
on duty.
