Fox Valley team prepares for monthly Farmers’ Market and brand new Craft Market!

The Fox Valley team are preparing for their monthly Farmers’ Market this Saturday (July 6th) which will be followed this month by the launch of a new Craft Market on Sunday (July 7th).

This month’s Farmer’s Market will run from 9 am – 3 pm with a host of local traders with fresh produce and delicious food-to-go options. Local performer Graham Lindley will be singing and playing the guitar at the event from 11 am.

Popular Fox Valley traders including The Old Bridge Bakery, Ellis Fruit and Veg, The Fishcake Co, Little Badger Company and The Cheese Shop will join the line-up.

Cocoa Elora will also be there selling their handmade chocolate as well as Bantu Biltong who will be selling dried cured beef jerky. Lily Pickles of Holmfirth will have a stall at the event selling delicious pickles and preserves, and

Greek Olives is taking a stall with a wide selection of olives, feta cheese and onion bhajis.

There will also be various food to go options including vegan food from Sunshine Deli and Hepy’s Hog Roast will be making an appearance.

Olive Made will be selling handmade Yorkshire children’s clothing as well as Good with Wood who will be selling wood furniture including stools, coat pegs and shelves. Other traders to look out for are Neal’s Yard, Shunklies, Islas Little Rainbow, The Sheffield Candle Co and Beau Tees.

The Farmer’s Market will be followed on Sunday 7th July by Fox Valley’s first Craft Market, the new market will take place on the first Sunday of every month from this weekend – complimenting the Farmer’s Market.

From home baked goods to homeware and babywear, the focus of the Craft Market is to showcase fabulous local businesses and promote emerging new ventures. It will run from 10am until 3pm.

Bizzy Bakes who have been regular attendants of the farmers market will be offering a wide variety of fresh cakes, tray bakes and cookies. A range of baby clothes and toys, bags and other accessories will be available courtesy of Creations, Razzle Dazzle and Scarlett Emily’s Bow Boutique.

The new market will also offer the opportunity to browse unique wooden furniture from Good with Wood, elegant pottery made by Handmade Ceramics and vibrant cards, bookmarks and even tooth fairy pillows for the little ones!

From Karenza’s enchanted Bookshop. The market will appeal to every member of the family, making it the perfect day out.

Events Manager at Fox Valley Kayleigh Marron said: “We are really excited to be launching yet another fantastic market here at Fox Valley with the first every Craft Market this Sunday – we’re confident its going to be a popular event in the Fox Valley diary. “

“With our regular Friday Market and then the Farmers’ Market on Saturday it’s going to be a busy three days for our Market area.”

The Fox Valley team are also launching a new Vegan Market on Saturday 27th July.
Both the Farmers market and craft market will be located under the glass walkway towards the end of the centre, by Home Bargains.
