Sandersons to make its fashion debut at the Great Yorkshire Show

2 July 2019

Fox Valley’s Sandersons Department Store takes to the catwalk next week in a stylish tribute to the store’s founder Deborah Holmes.

The Sandersons team will be taking part in the Great Yorkshire Show Fashion Show from Tuesday July 9th through to Thursday July 11th with a fabulous preview of some of next season’s new looks.

The independent store will be joined by a host of other Yorkshire fashion stores and designers showcasing their styles.

The Great Yorkshire Show attracts more than 130,000 visitors every year and this year the Kuoni Catwalk will be hosted by ITV Calendar Presenter Christine Talbot.

Sandersons was founded in September 2016 by Deborah who sadly passed away in January this year after a five battle with cancer.

Deborah’s team from Sandersons as well as family members will be attending the show and are looking forward to showcasing the stores’ fashion collections in her memory. Brands due to be showcased include Part Two Bariloche, Tommy Hilfiger, Masai and Hobbs as well as Guide London, Ted Baker and Joules.

The store, which can be found at Fox Valley, in north Sheffield has also worked with the Paralympian Hannah Cockcroft OBE to select her outfit for the fashion show’s celebrity catwalk.

Sandersons store manager Lisa Fox said: “We are really excited to be sharing Deborah’s passion for great fashion and style at the Great Yorkshire Show Fashion Show, its lovely for us to be involved in such a great event which will be a real tribute to Debs.

“We’ve all really enjoyed preparing for the event and picking out the outfits as well as working with Hannah on choosing her gorgeous catwalk look for the show.”

The Great Yorkshire Show will be held from Tuesday, July 9 to Thursday, July 11 at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The Kuoni Catwalk will take place on each day of the show at 11am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm and 4pm, with a one-off celebrity special on the Tuesday at 2.30pm.

The show will be produced by Bernadette Gledhill with hair and make-up by students from the White Rose Beauty Colleges from across Yorkshire.
