North Sheffield department store announces new charity partnership

The team at Sandersons Department Store at Fox Valley in North Sheffield have announced they will be supporting St Luke’s Hospice for the next year.

St Luke’s supports and cares for adults and their loved ones affected by terminal illness across Sheffield, helping them to benefit from quality of life and alleviate pain.

The Sandersons team have lots of fundraising events and raffles planned in store over the next twelve months including a fantastic winter fashion show due to take place on Wednesday 7 November.

The year of fundraising was launched over the weekend (20th and 21st October) with a huge raffle with prizes kindly donated from brands in store including Moda in Pelle, Cyberjammies and various fragrance brands.

There were also prizes donated from Sheffield United Football Club and the stores brand new Costa Coffee concession which opened earlier in the year.

Store Manager of Sandersons Lisa Fox said: “We are delighted to be supporting this vital and well-loved local charity for the next year and we have lots of exciting plans to hopefully raise lots of money.”

“Our lovely customers are always amazing at getting involved in our fundraising activities and we hope to see lots of familiar faces at our charity fashion show in November!”

St Luke’s Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder said “We are thrilled that the team at Sandersons have chosen to support St Luke’s and we are already impressed by their fundraising activity.”

Sandersons winter fashion show takes place on Wednesday 7 November, doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are £5 and all ticket sales will be donated to St Luke’s.
