Fox Valley’s First Farmers’ Market of 2018 gets underway this weekend
4 January 2018
The first Fox Valley Farmers’ Market of 2018 returns on Saturday 6th January running from 9am-3pm and the traders are promoting all things healthy this month.
The theme of this month’s market is ‘get fit and healthy’ with a wide range of stalls joining the monthly market aimed at helping shoppers to stick to their New Year’s resolutions.
Shoppers can pick up their greens from Ellis Fresh Fruit and Veg as well as honey from Dads Bees and delicious fresh fishcakes from the Fishcake Company.
Local guitarist Graham Lindley will be entertaining shoppers with his acoustic songs on the bandstand from 11am-1pm.
Fox Valley will also welcome the fantastic Amelia Durdy for the first time on the bandstand. Amelia will be busking with her flute from 1pm.
Fox Valley Centre Manager Annabel Plumtree said: “We are really excited for the first Farmers’ Market of the New Year and what better theme to kick off with than getting fit and healthy for the New Year!”
