Fox Valley prepares for fantastic weekend for annual Food and Music Festival

The team at Fox Valley are preparing to stage the centre’s annual Food and Music Festival in June with line-up of great entertainment and fantastic local food planned for the weekend of June 15th and 16th.

The annual event falls on the weekend of the centre’s third birthday and this year the Fox Valley team are working with the Valley Music Festival organisers who will be providing a packed weekend of musical entertainment.

As well as showcasing local musicians the event will also feature special demonstrations by local chefs in the Festival demo kitchen, showcasing some of their dishes.

More than 50 food and drink traders will also be part of the festival line up and stalls are selling out fast so interested company are being urged to sign up now to be part of the 2019 event.

The Saturday will be a combination of showcasing cooking demonstrations and live performances whilst the Sunday will be entirely dedicated to the local music groups performing on the bandstand and large festival stage.

Both days will feature a fabulous range of delicious local produce and food to go options.

Fox Valley event manager Kayleigh Marron said: “We are really excited to be hosting the annual Fox Valley Food and Music festival and to be working with our friends from the Valley Music Festival committee.

“We have had a great response from traders who took part in event last year and we’d like to hear from any other traders who would like to take a stall for the event to add to our fantastic line up. But they’ll need to be quick as our slots are getting taken up quickly as the event gets nearer.”

As well as the live music and foodie fun there will also be children’s craft and entertainment section as well as fairground rides and face painting.
