Fox Valley Florist Rooting for Success in National Award!

Fleur de Lys Flowers located in Sandersons Department Store at Fox Valley has made it to the top 10 finalists in the “Best Retail Shop” category for this year’s British Florist Association (BFA) Industry Awards.

Fleur de Lys, headed up by owner Lisa Crossland from Stocksbridge, has been open as a concession in Sandersons since September 2016.

The British Florist Association Awards recognise the very best in the Floristry industry and is the only trade association in the industry recognised by both UK and EU Government.

Lisa has expanded her business since opening three years ago – moving to a larger ground floor space in the store and creating three new jobs.

The Fleur de Lys team now consists of Lisa along with Corinne, Alyson and Rachael who work to cater for all occasions including weddings, funerals and gifts.

Fleur de Lys are open seven days a week and offer delivery on both a local and national scale.

Lisa Crossland said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have made it to the final ten businesses in the Best Retail Shop BFA award!

“The team and I at Fleur de Lys have worked extremely hard over the past three years to deliver a unique experience and exceptional customer service and to win the award would be just fantastic!”

The winner will be announced at a Gala Dinner event taking place on Saturday 26th October in Hinkley, Leicestershire.
