Fox Valley Farmers’ Market celebrates Small Business Saturday

27 November 2017

A host of fantastic local producers and businesses will be at the Fox Valley Farmers’ Market this Saturday (December 2nd) – the last one before Christmas.

There will be delicious treats from companies including Chef on a Bike, The Cheese Shop, The Pie Parlour and Crepes & Go as well as a lovely line up of great gift ideas from stallholders such as the Sheffield Candle Company and Sarah Helens Crafts.

The packed market will also have fresh fruit and veg and indulgent home baked cakes and lots of other tasty treats.

The market will also be celebrating Small Business Saturday on December 2nd with lots of the independent stores at Fox Valley also joining in the monthly event to promote their brand.

The Works Hers and Sirs will have a pop up salon in the Independent Quarter and other stores and companies will also be getting involved in the event.

Entertainment will be provided by the saxophonist Andy Cahill and by Fox Valley regular Alice B.

The Fox Valley Farmers’ Market was launched earlier this year and is a popular event in the centre’s busy diary.  It takes place in the piazza area and the Independent Quarter of Fox Valley on the first Saturday of every month.

Centre manager at Fox Valley, Annabel Plumtree, said: “There will be a special festive feel to this Saturday’s market as it is the last one before Christmas.  We’ll also be celebrating Small Business Saturday and shouting about the great local businesses we have here at Fox Valley.”
