Steel Valley Mountain Bike Challenge

Steel Valley Mountain Bike Challenge

The Steel Valley Ride, a 31 mile mountain bike challenge through the dramatic landscape of the Peak District is being held on Saturday 14th July 2018.

A proportion of the entry fees will go to the British Mountaineering Council’s ‘Mend our Mountains’ campaign to raise funds for the iconic Cut Gate bridleway in the Peak District, which forms part of the route.

As an added incentive this year, participants can choose to be sponsored for the event and those raising over £100 for the Steel Valley Project will be able to claim back their entry fee. Full details can be found on the event website.

The mountain bike route starts and finishes at Trek Sheffield who are event partners and have donated a pair Bontrager Flat Line shoes (RRP £119.99) which will be up for grabs in a prize draw for the first 50 entrants.

Entries open on Friday 13th April 2018 at 8.00am. The charity recommends early entry to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited.
