Mini's morning at Fox Valley

24 May 2017

Come down from 11am on 24th May to see these classic cars. Make sure you aren't late as they will be only on centre until 1pm.

Barnsley Mini Club is a local enthusiasts club celebrating the most British of motoring icons, the Mini!

We have around 100 members, all with a deep affection for this little car and the models we own range from the very earliest 1959 ones rights up to the very last to be produced by Rover group in 2000 and cover all variants such as vans, estates, pick-ups, convertibles and saloons. Along with restoring the cars, often to better than new condition, we also modify them to our own tastes making each car individual. Our members range in age from just 18 right up to ....... well, older!!

Each year we attend, as a club, many shows throughout the UK and once a year the International Mini Meeting. The interest in the Mini is worldwide and this is shown by the number of clubs throughout Europe, the US, South East Asia and Australia.

In years gone by the International Mini Meeting has been in countries such as Belgium, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Holland and many more. This year, Ireland are the hosts from the 25th to the to the 29th May. You can visit their website at We have around 30 members setting off from Fox Valley on 24th May and are hoping many people will come down to view our pride and joy's from 11.00am.

Many thanks to the management at Fox Valley for allowing us o use their facilities.
