Fox Valley Food Festival

To celebrate the centre's 2nd birthday Fox Valley is hosting its first Food and Drink Festival. This fantastic weekend event will have more than 40 food stalls as well as a packed line up of entertainment, cooking demonstrations, children's rides and much, much more.

Saturday 16th June:

10am - Snap Fitness Bootcamp session on the main stage.

10:30am - entries for Fox Valley Bake Off to be taken to craft area in the piazza area.

11am - official opening of the demo kitchen on the main stage by Mayor of Stocksbridge Cllr Julie Grocutt.

12pm - judging of Fox Valley Bake Off (winner to be announced on the main stage at 12:30pm)

Throughout the day - music in the bandstand, demonstrations and entertainment on the main stage. Children’s crafts and activities in the piazza area (including scarecrow making workshop ) and family picnic area by the main stage.

Demo Kitchen line up:

  • 10.00am: Snap Fitness opening show, LIVE BOOTCAMP!
  • 11.00am: Creme Fresh's mid-morning healthy snacks
  • 12.00pm: John Crawshaws Butchers BBQ Special
  • 1.00pm: Miss Adu's Kitchen gluten free & vegan savory & sweet snacks
  • 2.00pm: Kerbedge Chef Ricky Hammond-Price with delicious handmade burgers
  • 3.00pm: The Old Bridge Bakery's Mediterranean dishes
  • 4.00pm: Pontis Italian Kitchen Chef Rob's lunch time & happy hour special

Sunday 17th June:

Throughout the day - car display, music in the bandstand, demonstrations and entertainment on the main stage. Children’s crafts and activities in the piazza area ( including scarecrow making workshop )

  • 10.00am: Snap Fitness LIVE YOGA!
  • 11.00am: Miss Adu's Kitchen gluten free & vegan savory & sweet snacks
  • 12.00pm: Kerbedge Chef Adam Bryson Father's Day burgers
  • 1.00pm: Dirty Vegan- Chef Carl Johnson's delicious signature dishes
  • 2.00pm: Pontis Italian Kitchen cocktail making hour
  • 3.00pm: Creme Fresh gluten free afternoon tea scones
  • 4.00pm: The Old Bridge Bakery Mediterranean dishes

Free Park & Ride

Please note that due to the scale of the event parking spaces on centre at Fox Valley will be reduced.

Our free park and ride facility will be operational for both days of the event running from 10am through to 5pm.

To avoid disappointment please do plan your journey and look out for the Park and Ride directional signs.

 

Travelling south bound on the A616 Stocksbridge Bypass, take the exit signposted Wortley to join the A629 and turn right.
Turn left on to Howbrook Lane, turn left on to Peafields Lane, slight merge on to Cross Lane.
Bear left on to Storrs Lane, slight merge on to Westwood Lane – Park and Ride service will operate from the car park area to the right of the bridge.

Traveling north bound on the A616 Stocksbridge Bypass, take the exit signposted Wortley to join the A629 and turn right.
