Make-up guru Armand announces link with Sheffield’s new boutique department store

1 August 2016

Make-up artist and TV presenter Armand Beasley will be the Beauty Ambassador at north Sheffield’s brand new independent department store Sandersons when it opens in September.

Armand has featured in magazines including Vogue, Grazia and Harpers Bazaar as well as TV programmes How to Look Good Naked and ITV’s This Morning where he is part of the show’s “Glam Squad.”

He is now turning his talents to Yorkshire’s new boutique department store Sandersons which opens at Fox Valley in north Sheffield on Thursday September 1st.

The store is bringing a host of fantastic fashion, homewares, fragrance and cosmetic brands to the area as well as a chic new first floor tea room.

The Sandersons concept has been developed by south Yorkshire businesswoman Deborah Holmes who is passionate about creating a unique retail environment at the new 17,000 sq. ft. store.

Deborah said: “It really is important to us that we create something unique and different here at Sandersons and having Armand’s input in the beauty department is a huge part of that.

“As well as training our own team in skincare and make-up he has curated the beauty department and will be in store eight days a month for makeovers and beauty tips.

“We have some really special beauty brands including popular brands like Benefit but we are also introducing some niche cosmetic which are rapidly gaining cult status - these include Inika and Make-Up Atelier Paris which we are thrilled to be introducing to the area.”

Armand has glamorised some of the most beautiful women in the world, from Hollywood icon, Goldie Hawn to British beauty, Michelle Keegan, but will be making sure that every Sandersons customer gets star treatment.

He said: “Sandersons is an exceptional concept and I am so excited to be involved with the new store.

“I know that for many women cosmetics departments can feel like a bit of a minefield but with our exceptional service and knowledge and working across all the brands we’re taking a new approach which is completely focussed on our customers’ needs. We want all our customers to walk out of the store feeling good and looking great.”

Sandersons will stock a mix of iconic fashion brands including Ted Baker, Phase 8, White Stuff and Barbour along-side others which are new to north Sheffield such as In-Wear, Onjenu and Masai.

They’ll also be joined by some great local products from Sheffield’s own British Silverware and The Sheffield Pewter Company, all making Sandersons a truly unique retail experience.

Sandersons will open with a Golden Ticket event at 11am on 1st September, when the first 100 customers will receive a fabulous free gift and one lucky shopper will walk away with a £500 Sandersons Gift Card.

The store can be found by the main entrance to the new Fox Valley development at Stocksbridge, north Sheffield. For more information visit www.foxvalleysheffield.co.uk
