Fit out teams move in ready for Fox Valley’s June opening

5 May 2016

The internal fit out work at the brand new stores opening at north Sheffield’s Fox Valley development is well under way this week.

A host of high street names have announced they’ll be opening at the centre and their fit out teams are now busy preparing their stores for the launch event on June 16th.

Teams have moved onto site this week to work on the Pets at Home, Regatta and Seasalt stores at the new 144,000 sq. ft. town centre development. Work is also underway on the new Edinburgh Woollen Mill which will also include Peacocks and Ponden Mills.

Costa Coffee start work on their new coffee shop on Monday (May 9th) as well as New York Bar and Grill and the fashion store M&Co.

Work started earlier this year at the new Full Gas Bikes at Fox Valley which is bringing a completely new concept cycle store to the region.

Contractors have also started work on the stylish fit out at the new Ponti’s Italian Kitchen at Fox Valley as well as the iconic umbrella shaped coffee shop which will be occupied by the independent company Central Bean.

Fox Valley is being delivered by the award winning South Yorkshire retail property firm Dransfield Properties Ltd.

Head of Communications at Dransfield Properties, Amanda Holmes, said: “It’s fantastic to see so many fit out teams on site now and busy transforming our empty units into fantastic spaces for our new stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

“We’ve had some lovely comments about the quality of the architecture here at Fox Valley and I’m sure our visitors will be equally impressed by what they see when they walk through the doors when we open on June 16th.”

Fox Valley has been designed around a 600 space free customer car park with a stunning fountain area and outdoor seating for the new restaurants.

As well as new retail units and high spec office space a new housing development by Stonebridge Homes is being built on a neighbouring site bringing 118 homes, ranging from one bedroom apartments to four bedroomed detached houses.
